Kathy was born and raised in Williamsport, Pa. and married her high school sweetheart several years after graduation. Two years after that, they welcomed their first and only child, Matt.
After spending 25 years in the garment industry, including the last 15 as the supervisor of a large department, Kathy became frustrated with the direction of the industry, and knew that she needed to make some career changes. It was at that same time that she was approached by someone in the financial services industry, and encouraged to consider a career in that industry. After discussing this career change with her good friend, who happened to be a Northwestern Mutual policyowner, her friend suggested that perhaps she should check out Northwestern Mutual, and passed Kathy’s number along to the local Managing Director.
The Managing Director called Kathy soon after, and the rest is history. Kathy says that she enjoys working with people who want to set goals and plan for their future. She also greatly values the friendships she has been able to build along the way. Like a lot of people, Kathy finds it a challenge to balance all of the activities in her life, but she does try her best to keep her priorities straight – GOD first, family second, and then her career.
Kathy says her motto is “I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.” Kathy works primarily in the personal and small business markets, and says that her ideal client is someone who is concerned about protecting his or her family, and preparing for a financially secure future. Kathy and her husband Dave, their son Matt and his wife Nicole all live in the Williamsport area. Kathy and Dave now look forward to becoming grandparents someday.
